Shopify Scraper: Find Installed Apps, Products and Reviews by URL
Paste Shopify store URLs and get back each store's product catalog, the storefront apps it uses (Klaviyo, Recharge, Yotpo, Gorgias and many others) and, if you want them, public reviews from Yotpo, Judge.me, Stamped, Okendo or Loox. It is for SaaS sales teams, agencies, DTC analysts and product researchers who need Shopify data in a spreadsheet or through an API, with no store login.

What people use it for
Build a lead list from tech stack
Collect a list of Shopify store URLs and run them in Standard mode. Filter the results on all_apps_raw to keep stores that use a competing app, or that have no app in your category, then load that list into your CRM for outreach.
Audit a prospect before a pitch
Run one store and read its detected apps by category: reviews, email, popups, loyalty, chat, search, page builder and tracking pixels. You walk into the call knowing what the store already pays for and where the gaps are.
Monitor competitor catalogs
Schedule a weekly run on a few competitor stores in Basic mode. Compare price, compare_at_price and stock counts between runs to spot new products, discounts and items going out of stock.
Study product reviews
Use Full mode on stores that run a supported review app. Export the reviews dataset and sort by rating to see what customers praise or complain about on each product.
Who it is for
- SaaS companies selling to Shopify merchants: find stores that use a competitor's app, or none at all
- Agencies: produce a tech stack audit of a client or prospect store before the first call
- DTC brands and analysts: track competitor catalogs, prices and stock across regional storefronts
- Dropshippers and product researchers: pull full catalogs with prices, variants and images
- Review and sentiment analysts: collect public product reviews with ratings and dates
How to run it
- Open Shopify Apps Spy + Product Scraper on Apify and sign in or create a free Apify account.
- Paste one or more Shopify store URLs, either the custom domain or the *.myshopify.com address (up to 100 per run).
- Pick the extraction level: Basic for products only, Standard to add installed apps, Full to add reviews. Optionally set a product limit or a collection filter.
- Click Start and wait for the run to finish. Products, store summary, detected apps and reviews land in separate datasets.
- Download each dataset as CSV, JSON or Excel from the Storage tab, or fetch it through the Apify API.
Pricing
You pay per result, through your Apify account: $3.00 per 1,000 results at the time of writing (2026-11-08). No subscription to this actor. Apify's free plan includes monthly platform credit, enough to test it. The current price is always the one shown on the Apify page.
Questions
Is it legal to scrape Shopify stores?
The actor reads public storefront pages and the public /products.json endpoint that Shopify stores expose. It does not log in, does not use the Admin API and does not collect shopper data. Public reviews can contain reviewer names, so if you store them, check the privacy rules that apply to you, such as GDPR in the EU.
How can I see which apps a Shopify store uses?
In Standard or Full mode the actor loads the store's home page and one product page and matches the code against a library of patterns for close to 80 apps and tracking tools. It can only find apps that leave a trace in the storefront code, so apps that work only in the back office, or load late on a heavily customised headless store, can be missed.
How does pricing work?
You pay per event, with no subscription. On the free plan it is $0.003 per product row, $0.01 per store that returns products, $0.10 per store for the app scan (Standard and Full) and $0.001 per review, plus a tiny start fee per GB of memory. The app scan is charged once the scan runs, even if it finds few apps. Higher Apify plans get lower rates, and you can set a maximum total charge on each run.
What export formats are available?
Every dataset can be downloaded as CSV, JSON or Excel from Apify, or read through the Apify API. You can also send results to Google Sheets, Airtable, Slack or a webhook with Apify integrations.
Are there limits on stores and products?
One run takes up to 100 store URLs. You can set up to 100,000 products per store (250 by default) and up to 500 reviews per product. Reviews only come from Yotpo, Judge.me, Stamped, Okendo and Loox, so stores using other review apps return no review rows.
What if a store blocks the scraper or is not on Shopify?
If a URL is not a Shopify store, or is blocked by anti-bot protection, you get a diagnostic row explaining why and you are not charged for that store. For stores behind Cloudflare you can turn on the residential proxy option. If a store disables /products.json, the actor reads the product sitemap instead.
Do I need a Shopify API key or store access?
No. Everything comes from what the store shows to any visitor, so you do not need an API key, an app install or the store owner's permission to sign in.
